Red Tailed Hawk-Close up

I was watching a red tailed Hawk at a nearby tree, 10 meters away in a busy Toronto park. I was surprised at how calm this bird was was with children and parents doing a a COVID walk and talk in the park. I got distracted by the family and the fun they were having together. When I looked over the majestic bird had disappeared. However looking upwards, I realized it had landed in a tree, just a couple meters above my head, looking down at me. I slowly moved away as this stunning bird was too close for the range of my telephoto lens. I love photographing urban wildlife. It has allowed me more opportunities to get closer to capture beautiful wildlife images for sharing.
